Our journey began in 2023 when we, members of the Bryant family, bound by shared interests in natural health and personal well-being, decided to turn our passion into a purpose.
It all started with Rena, one of our co-founders, who found particular comfort in the scents and colors of bath bombs she purchased from a local retailer. These weren’t just ordinary bath bombs; they were blended with essential oils and natural ingredients that provided a soothing experience. This realization that simple, everyday products could bring such comfort was a revelation to Rena and sparked a lightbulb moment for all of us.
Inspired by Rena’s experiences, Rena, Kathleen, and Trevor Bryant began experimenting with aromatherapy products in a small, sunlit room of Kathleen’s home. Our goal was clear: to create products that nurtured the body and provided comfort. We focused on bath bombs initially but soon expanded to include essential oil blends, beeswax candles, soaps, lip balms, and body butters, all crafted with mostly organic ingredients.
The creative process was therapeutic in itself, working in an environment where the atmosphere was filled with calmness and camaraderie. It wasn’t long before we saw positive feedback once we begin testing the samples on ourselves and sharing our creation with family and friends. Motivated by this and the encouraging responses from early users, we established LaShea’s Kitchen. Our mission is to share this holistic approach to personal wellness with a wider audience.
